The Michigan Lawmen Softball Club is the most powerful police softball team in Michigan and one that can compete on a national level. The Michigan Lawmen have a 30 year history of excellence in police softball. The team is comprised of officers from all over the Southeast Michigan area. We have officers from Detroit, Romulus, Troy, Eastpointe, Clinton Township, Oakland County Sheriff’s Department, Macomb County Sheriff’s Department, Livonia, Farmington Hills, Taylor, Wyandotte, Lansing, Southgate and Westland.

A majority of the Law Enforcement Softball Tournaments that the Michigan Lawmen participate in are charity events that raise funds for the families of police officers and firefighters that are killed or seriously injured in the line of duty across the country.

Each year we seek sponsorship to offset the costs of fielding and equipping the team. Our team is not sponsored by, nor does it receive any support from any of the listed law enforcement agencies. Each player utilizes leave and personal time to play and pays their own travel expenses when participating in tournaments.
